Nathan was born and raised in Northwest Ohio. After graduating from Emmanuel Baptist High School, Nathan attended Bob Jones University and graduated with a degree in Biology. Nathan then spent the next several years working as a Bricklayer for Spartan Construction Company, Inc.

In 2014 Nathan began law school at the University of Toledo, College of Law, continuing to work while attending school part time. During law school, Nathan served as a member of the University of Toledo Law Review. 

Nathan is admitted to practice law in the State of Ohio and is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, Toledo Bar Association, and the Fulton County Bar Association.
